Premium Sand Control Screen
(1) Punch-slotted Screen (PPS)
PPS is composed of base pipe, punched slot filtration jacket and stainless steel connecting rings.
a. API tubing or casing is used as the base pipe and helically perforated.
b. High quality stainless steel and special welding technique are used to eliminate the impacts of thermal stress and result in excellent corrosion resistant ability.
c. Higher filtering ability
d. Higher self-cleaning ability.
(2) Premium Metal-Mesh Screen (PMM)
PMM is consisted of base pipe, two sand control metal-meshed filtration layers and a protective jacket in all-welded structure. The base pipe is API standard casing or tubing, and filtration layer is formed by stainless steel mesh. The metal-mesh filtration layer and jacket are characterized with high penetrability, high strength, high reliability, non-deformability and effective corrosion resistance.
It is suitable especially for the siltstone geology. It can be extensively applied for well completion or sand control in the horizontal wells, side-tracked wells and branch wells.

c. Following the development of oil exploration and development technology and the ocean hydrocarbon resources, the directional wells, horizontal wells, cluster wells, multilateral wells and other complicated options become popular, which bring higher technical requirements for sand control screen, such as:
① Small resistance and high production.
② Great bending deformation resistance.
③ Long service life and high sand control reliability.
④ Large working area and small resistance to flow.
⑤ Resistance to acid, brine and CO corrosion.
(3) Application History of Screen
They are extensively applied in Shengli Oilfield, Zhongyuan Oilfield, Daqing Oilfield, Liaohe Oilfield, Xinjiang and Kazakhstan.
